The space-time behavior of the n-th elementary particle is represented by a trajectory with changing direction of time, the distance between adjacent kinks of the trajectory being L/n where L is the classical electron radius. L is numerically the distance between charge irregularities of the universe R/√<N_e>, where N_e is the number of electrons in the universe of radius R. The radiationless condition for a point charge moving along this trajectory gives Nambu's mass formula. Another consequence of the radiationless condition is to cut off short wavelength components of self-action virtual quanta at ~L and guarantee a finite mass correction. It is also seen that the short wavelength (<L) components are the very components that concentrate the charge (particle) within a small spatial distance ~L and give rise to the major part of the observed mass.
