Elastic Sphere Model of Elementary Particles and Its Relation to the Quadri-Local Field Model

The quantum theory of an elastically isotropic and spherically symmetric body is developed both in a non-relativistic and a relativistic ways. It can be shown that the model considered in this note is kinematically equivalent to the quadri-local field model proposed by Yukawa et al. and T. Takabayasi. Therefore, in the same way as Takabayasi did, we can construct baryonic states by irreducible representations of SU(3) group. In connection to the relativistic formulation of the model, we also study the relativistic rigid body motion.
