Quark model is applied to high energy elastic scattering, assuming the "additivity assumption" to the quark-quark scattering phase shift. It is shown that the Krisch-type parametrization of proton-proton elastic scattering can be derived from this model and that dips, the energy dependence of the height of the second maximum and the tendency of antishrinkage of the width of the forward diffraction peak in the antiproton-proton elastic scattering differential cross section can also be explained.
