Nuclear reactions induced by helium capture, 3α→C^<12>+γ etc., are investigated. The results are applied to the study of the variation of chemical abundances and the energy generation in the hydrogen exhausted stellar core with suitable physical conditions. The reactions, C^<12>+C^<12> etc., are also discussed. The results obtained are useful to study the stellar evolution in its later stage.
