On the Non-Linear Effect of Cosmic Fluid in an Expanding Universe. II : Refinement and Extension of the Formalism

Our formalism for dealing with various non-linear effects of cosmic fluid which are important in the process of galaxy formation is refined by introducing a new shearing tensor q_<ij> such as q_<ii>=0. It is shown that, even in the local analysis around an equilibrium point, the dynamical equation for q_<ij> contains a.non-local gravitational term which does not necessarily vanish even in the case of density fluctuations with spherical symmetry. A global approach to the problem of galaxy formation is, therefore, presented by considering a rotating gaseous spheroid with uniform density and diagonal shearing. Basic equations for dealing with hydrodynamial instability before the decoupling time of matter from the primordial radiation are also derived by taking account of the viscosity effect due to Thomson's scattering at the stage.
