The acupuncture anesthesia (A. A) is considered to include two phenomena such as the paralysis effect on peripheral level below spinal cord and the central anesthesia effect. The train of H-waves induced by the repetitive electrical stimulus to the N.tibial giving at some frequency, shows some amplitude types, which depend upon the degree of anesthesia. So, the effect of A. A on central and spinal nerve was studied by RE-EMG before and after acupuncture treated. The typical example of RE-EMG by A. A was shown by the new analytic method of RE-EMG. About the pattern of RE-EMG on the A. A side, the value of plateau level descends ; from the normal level just after A. A (the brainstem of motor nervus was restrained). The wave shows remarkable up and down (increase of undulation), and these are highly connected with the depth of anesthesia. The phase diagram of RE-EMG before the anesthesia showed the characteristic like the strange-attractor. Just after the anesthesia the definite attractor was found on the A. A side, and on the other side, where the A. A was weak, the cyclic attractor with wide undulation was observed. Therefore it seems that the H-reflex and T-reflex have a chaotic control and multi-sinaptic connection from the central side to the spinal side.
