"Wholism" and "Reductionism" had been unhappily in opposition to each other. But one group of sociobiologists are commencing to conquer this opposition. The conbination of "Wholism" and "Reductionism" cultivates an honest look of nature. This paper calls a wholistic viewpoint which look at nature in the light of biological individual by the name of "Wholistic Individualism". The first aim of this paper is to make clear that this "Wholistic Individualism" forms a basic biological cognition from the point of view of child's concept understanding. The second is to throw light on the conditions of effective constructions of teaching materials. The last is to take a suggestion for a systemacy of elementary biological education. From the results of these analyses, i) to give abundant informations of living things, ii) comparison method, iii) to form representations, these three are the conditions of effective constructions, and a systemacy of elementary biological education is proposed; "Individualism" in the lower grades → "Wholistic Individualism" in the higher grades → inquiry of physiology and evolution in junior high school.
