The purpose of this paper is to identify engineering ethics and to give a case study of it. Engineering ethics is thought to be still at the early stage, as engineers and social scientists have recently made research into this field of study. However, this learning is essential to engineers. In this paper, we first made clear what engineering ethics was, giving definitions to the key words used in the field. Second, we showed a case study of this learning, aiming to help engineers to cultivate appropriate attitude toward and deep interest in safety in the field of engineering. In giving this case study to students, it is necessary to give guidance to them in the most suitable form, depending on the level of their knowledge.
