• Europe in early Middle Ages was the historical stage where the Roman element, Germanic element and the Christian element gradually united. I was primarily engaged in making research into what part the Germanic tradition played on that stage. I picked a classical manorial system-die klassische Grundherrschaft oder die echte Grundherrschaft-as the subject of this treatise. In chapter 1, I referred to the process in which the Germanic element and the Roman element united in a classical manorial system. In the second chapter,I studied how the Christian element served in process of establishment of a classical manorial system.
