• The first article in this series attempted to present a basis for the way I handle the issue of culture in the classroom. This second installment attempts to establish common links among human beings. This is done as a way to remind aspiring teachers of the essential worth of the students they will encounter. The beginning teacher is also encouraged to develop her own understanding of universalities.
