Italy is a country that has been being envied by the other countries because of her richness of creativities in arts, music, architecture, and so on. All those creativities, however, are not only developed by Italians but also by "Visitors" who had brought something different from their motherlands. Therefore, her creativities are attri-butable to the fact of amalgamations of a lot of different factors. This characteristics show a good contrast against that of Japan. Especially, the Sicily has seen a lot of "Visitors" such as Greek, Roman, Saracen, Norman, Swabian, French, Spanish, and many more. There is no doubt about the fact that this amalgamation of those different cultures contributed to their artistic abilities. This abilities are also applied to the modern design activities in Italy. This note describes how so-called "Siculo-Norman" style is developed in Sicily, and introduces the most fascinating amalgamations in Sicily.
