The suboptimal control strategy for integrator augmented systems by using aggregated model introduced in the previous paper is extended to the case where all the aggregated states of controlled systems cannot be measured. The concept of an aggregated states estimation is applied in this paper to the estimation of aggregated states in the suboptimal control strategy stated above. It is shown in this paper that the output feedback suboptimal controller employing the aggregated states estimation results in stable closed-loop systems. It is also shown that the suboptimal control strategy with aggregated states estimation proposed in this paper can be considered to be a universal form for suboptimally controlling single or multivariable plants in the sense of approximation as a state space version or extension of three-term, or PID, controllers.
