This study concerning overseas experience was based on a questionnaire presented to all the students of the Department of English at Kwassui Women's College in classes toward the end of 2002. Questions were asked about travel abroad before and after entering the college, including future plans. This was done as part of preparation for considering changes in programs for study abroad sponsored by Kwassui Women's College. Students' reasons for choices among overseas programs and also their suggestions for improvement and ideas about the main value and difficulties of overseas experience were sought. They also evaluated their level of knowledge about Kwassui's study abroad opportunities. In conclusion, it is clear that greater spread of information about potential overseas experience is needed if it is to become really international.
