Wave mode and Poynting flux of Pc 3 type ULF signals (wave period=20-45 sec) occurred near the dayside magnetopause were examined with the magnetic and electric field data observed by Geotail during the period of 27 months from December 1994 to February 1997. The results showed that typical three types of wave mode coexisted, and exhibited as radially and azimuthally transverse waves, and compressional waves, respectively. The examinations of Poynting flux revealed that these waves were simultaneously observed with the energy of 10 to 50nW/m^2,and showed the properties of partly the propagation into the inner magnetosphere, and/or partly the resonance oscillation along the magnetic field-line.
