Research on Reduction of Pressure Fluctuation of Hydraulic System with Synthetic of Resonance Waves

A reduction technique of pressure fluctuation when the pressure control valve is closed was developed with numerical method. The characteristic curve method was used for simulation. In this method, the supplementary open-close signal was added after the valve closed. The synthetic wave appeared because the resonance waves caused by valve closing and supplementary signal were generated. This synthetic wave had higher frequency than the reasonance wave, then the pressure fluctuation of basic frequency that was decided by pipe length was decreased. The influences of the start timing and continuous period of additional signal on pressure fluctuation level and frequency characteristics of pressure were analyzed in this report.
