The filter method with filters for aerosol sampling like a Membrane filter, is widely used to measure the airborne short-lived radon daughters. Change of the concentration of the airborne radon daughters attached to aerosols which are removed from a space cannot be neglected in the case that the amount of the vacuumed air compared with the volume of a space is significant, because this method is developed on the assumption that the concentration of radon and its daughters in a space does not change during sampling. Therefore, the concentration measured by the filter method is underestimated compard with the actual concentration. Discussion about problems which occurred on the measurement of the concentration of radon daughters in a space like above carried out based on the data obtained from the "Open space" whose volume is 250m^3 and the "Small space" whose volume is 0.18m^3. Furthermore, the improved filter method (the "Improved method") which is the former filter method (the "Former method") taken into consideration of the decrease of aerosol concentration during sampling was proposed. For the "Open space", the concentration of radon daughters attached to aerosols obtained from the "Improved method" and that obtainted from the "Former method" were the same. For the "Small space", the concentration obtained from the "Former method" was lower than that obtained from the "Improved method". In a space isolated from the outside like the "Small space", the amount of radon daughters which are not attached to aerosol cannot be neglected compared with that of radon daughters which are attached to aerosol because of low aerosol concentration. Therefore, it is seen to need the measurement of the concentration of radon daughters including radon daughters which are not attached to aerosols.
