An Arranging Method on L/D of Two-Phase Closed Thermosyphons

There have been many papers reported the deviation of heat transfer characteristics of two-phase closed thermosyphons on the change of the length (L) and diameter (D). Almost all the papers, however, have explained only qualitative characteristics and scarcely deduced an empirical formula. The purpose of this work is to derive an arranging method on L/D from the experimental results of corrugated thermosyphons with different L and D. The temperature profiles have been calculated in a good agreement with the experimental results.
