The present study investigates how female nursing students' health-conscious behaviors represent their personality traits described by Egogram. 0ne hundred and fourteen students participated in the questionnaire research, and the average of their ages was 23.5 years old. The questionnaire contained questions measuring to what extent the respondents regularly did health-conscious behaviors (defined by Breslow) in their every day lives. The result showed that respondents generally answered that their actual health-conscious behaviors were "having breakfast every morning," "abstaining from drinking," and "abstaining from smoking." The average TEG scores were 7.4 for CP, 14.1 for NR, 10.8 for A, 11.0 for FC and 10.6 for AC. The profiles of the average scores showed a flat shape ; however, most individual profiles were apparently N-shape in low values. compared with those of other female samples whose age was 30.3 years old on average. The analyses of the relationships between whether or not female students regularly performed health-conscious behaviors and their TEG scores showed that the average FC scores of those who did not perform health-conscious behaviors (except for "having breakfast every morning") was generally higher than those of their health-conscious counterparts, especially in terms of "abstaining from smoking"(p>.05). In addition to this, smokers CP score was also high(p<.07).
