We present an analytical expression for second-harmonic phase in a type I potassium dihydrogen phosphate crystal at a fundamental wavelength of 1.053 μm to evaluate the far-field pattern of the second-harmonic beam in the firex program. The analytical expression has merits such that the far-field pattern of the second-harmonic beam can be directly calculated only with the Fraunhofer integration by applying the analytical expression, and complicated numerical simulations with nonlinear wave equations can be omitted.
