Piezoelectric properties were investigated in (K,Na)NbO3 ceramics whose K and Na were substituted with Sr at 1 to 5 mol % to rearize high piezoelectric properties. The maximum piezoelectricity was obtained in the sample with 3 mol % Sr substitution. However, the grain size of the sample was as large as 40 μm. Furthermore, the resistivity was as low as $10^{8}$ $\Omega$ cm and it was consequently unable to apply sufficient electric fields in the poling process. A MnO was added to suppress grain growth anomaly and withstand voltage increase. The powder obtained from a previously calcined mixture of Nb2O5 and MnCO3 was used as a raw material for MnO addition. By adding MnO above 0.05 mol %, grain growth anomaly was inhibited. By adding MnO above 3 mol %, the resistivity was above $10^{10}$ $\Omega$ cm and the mechanical quality factor was above 500. Even if 10 mol % MnO was added, the sample was dense and showed a perovskite single phase.
