High Performance Holographic Frequency Domain Optical Storage

A novel holographic frequency-domain optical storage technique is investigated. The mathematics relations of the system characteristics versus material properties and read/write conditions are developed. The system performances: recording density, signal-noise-ratio, parallel access, are analyzed in detail. The results show that this technique can realize high performance storage.
