We have achieved reduction of the power fluctuation of the second harmonic of a cw mode-locked YAG laser from 5% to less than 0.1% using a feedback loop with an acoustic loss modulator inside the laser cavity. By using the second harmonic of this laser as a pumping source, we have also reduced the output power fluctuation of a synchronously pumped dye laser at low frequencies.
