A promising approach called solvent vapor posttreatment, which can control the interchain interactions of polymer films in polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs), is reported in this paper. This method leaves the degree of interchain interactions in polymer films in a state similar to that if the films were spin-cast directly from that solvent. When the treatment time is selected appropriately, the film morphology of the surface film is changed without a change in the bulk film. Therefore the heterostructure is formed, which improves the electroluminescence performance of PLEDs.
