In this study, we report the design and the performance of a high-energy dichroic chirped mirror for a broadband ($\Delta \lambda>300$ nm at $\lambda_{0}\sim 800$ nm) regenerative amplifier. This mirror consists of HfO2 and SiO2, has a broad bandwidth ($R>99$% at 680 nm to 980 nm) and exhibits dichroism ($T> 90$% at 510 nm–550 nm). This mirror can withstand a chirped-pulse laser beam with a high practical fluence (${>}1$ J/cm2).
