日本の温暖化影響・適応策評価のための気候・社会経済シナリオ

概要

地球温暖化の影響は多岐にわたるため，日本への影響の全体像を評価し，効果的な適応策を検討するためには，学問分野を横断して専門的知見を集めることが重要である。将来の温暖化の影響を評価する方法として，まず将来の気候と社会経済を定量的に想定し，それらを入力条件として統計モデルあるいはプロセスモデルを利用し，検討対象ごとにシミュレーションを行うのが一般的である。ここで多くの検討対象について入力条件を揃えることができれば，ある将来の気候と社会経済の想定下における日本の影響と適応策を，総合的に捉えることができる。本稿では，先行事例や最新情報の精査を行い，温暖化影響・適応研究における日本の将来気候と社会経済の想定（シナリオ）について議論した。またこの議論に基づき，現在入手可能な情報を利用し，日本全域をカバーする時系列・メッシュ型のシナリオを開発した。
