FFor providing energy saving route guidance by the navigation system, it is efficiency not only to find the shortest route and congested routes but also to use the altitude information of the candidate routes. This paper considers the relation of the altitude information and the energy saving route by setting the actual sloping routes and taking the fuel consumption data on these routes. We investigate how to implement on map data in the Kiwi format and a dynamic re-route calculation based on Bayesian statistics.
