We report a case of stromal sarcoma in a 53-year-old woman.<BR>Aspiration biopsy specimens showed atypical spindle cells with thin cytoplasm and irregularly contoured nuclei. Cytoplasmic borders were unclear and nucleoli prominent. We found spindle cell neoplasm without an epithelial component in the operative specimen and diagnosed this as stromal breast sarcoma. Pulmonary metastasis was found one month after surgery.
