• Peripheral nerve lesions of experimental leprosy in monkeys i.e. 2 mangabey monkeys, 2 rhesus monkeys and 3 african green monkeys, were studied by electron microscopy and semi-thin section method. Sources of leprosy bacilli with which these 7 monkeys were inoculated were isolated from lepromata of mangabey monkey A015-natural infection and mangabey mon-key A022. Mangabey monkey A022 was inoculated with leprosy bacilli isolated from leprom-ata of mangabey monkey A015. Details and methods of the experimental leprosy in the monkeys were shown on Table 1.
