On the Grade of Fatigue in Sewing Work:-The Case of Inexperienced Persons-

To investigate the influences on the body caused by physical fatigue in sewing work, the degrees of physical fatigue of workers were measured and their complaints of fatigue were examined. The subjects were thirty students inexperienced in this kind of work; the measurement was carried out from June to July in 1976, the working time being from 9 : 00 a. m. to 5 : 00 p. m. save for one hour's lunch; the items of measurement were Flicker value and brain excite level, and the items of examination were feeling of fatigue and complaint of fatigue.<BR>Flicker value and brain excite level decreased just after the work; significant variance of 0.5 percent level was found before and after the work. Feeling of fatigue and frequency of complaint of fatigue increased just after the work; significant variance of 0.5 percent level was found before and after the work.<BR>The correlation between feeling of fatigue and frequency of complaint of fatigue was high at one percent level. Significant negative correlation was found between feeling of fatigue and Flicker value, between Flicker value and complaint of fatigue, between brain excite level and feeling of fatigue and between brain excite level and frequency of complaint of fatigue.
