Transfer of radioactivity into fetus and milk were studied after a single oral administration of 14C-Q-35 at the dose of 20 mg/kg in pregnant and in lactating rats.<BR>1. Whole body autoradiography of pregnant rats showed that radioactivity distributed well and rapidly in the body, except brain and eye ball. At 24 h after administration, radioactivity in tissues was almost completely eliminated.<BR>Distribution patterns of radioactivity in fetus were similar to those in mother. However, the radioactivity in fetus was relatively low.<BR>2. The levels of radioactivity in milk were higher than those in plasma suggesting that Q-35 transfers into milk.
