To understand disadvantageous factors in female' s career planning process, a questionnaire-based study is conducted for two different groups, i.e, engineers and clerks in automobile-affiliated company. The result showed that those factors are mainly related to job continuity and parallel processing of job and child care. The portions of the former and the latter factor are 75%, 65%, and 70%, 85% for engineers and clerks, respectively. A further study is analyzed using correlation coefficients between the items. The items such as workshop accessibility, female' s responsibility for housekeeping and a roll model are attributed to cause those differences in two groups. An appropriate support different depending on the demand of individual worker is recommended in female career panning in future.
