A new evaluation methodology of 3D-CAD practice was introduced on mechanical design education in a College of Technology. The main results obtained are as follows : (1) We could reduce the effort of marking of works to be submitted, without decrease of the evaluation quality. (2) If we supply the parts which cannot be edited, students who are behind the schedule can practice the assembly in 3D-CAD. (3) The evaluation method prevents a plagiarism of another person' s data. Therefore we could propose a high efficient and high quality evaluation methodology by usage of 3D-CAD.
