The purpose of this article is to introduce a clinical psychology perspectives into our speech therapy practice, especially on speech problems and feeding difficulties. Because of the variations of these problems, we usually face difficulties in understanding the phenomenon and developing an approach. Although the knowledge of physiology and the motor function are important to solve these problems, there is limitation in some cases. In these difficult situations, the knowledge of clinical psychology is very useful and helpful. In this article, the matter of speech and feeding problems is considered based on clinical psychology through a case study approach.
