Niobium(V) oxide supported on TiO2 showed a high catalytic activity for the reduction of NO with NH3 at temperatures higher than 450 °C. The presence of SO42− in Nb2O5 or in Nb2O5 supported on TiO2 brought about an increase in the catalytic activity.
