The equilibrium constants of Poly(acrylic acid)–Pb(II) complex formation reactions were evaluated from stoichiometric equations by means of pH titration with a Pb(II) ion selective electrode. The thermodynamic parameters were obtained from the temperature dependence of the equilibrium constants. The Poly(acrylic acid)–Pb(II) complexes seem to be stable due to an exothermic process.
