概要

• A cyclic decapeptide, <I>cyclo</I>-(L-Trp-D-Trp-L-Asn-L-Gln-L-Tyr-L-Val-L-Orn-L-Leu-D-Phe-L-Pro-), having the amino acid sequence of natural tyrocidine C has been synthesized. Chemical and biological properties of this product have been described. An antibiological activity of the product toward Gram positive microorganisms was found to be nearly the same degree as that of tyrocidine B.
