• From the leaves and stems of <I>Arthraxon hispidus Makino</I>, aconitic acid, luteolin, luteolin-7-glucoside, and a new flavone, arthraxin, have been isolated. Luteolin, luteolin-7-glucoside, and arthraxin were also isolated from <I>Miscanthus tinctorius Hackel</I>, and tricin was isolated from <I>Miscanthus sinensis Anderss</I> and <I>Phragmites communis Trinius</I>.
