• <I>cis</I>(<I>S</I>)-<I>fac</I>- and <I>trans</I>(<I>S</I>)-<I>fac</I>-Isomers of bis(thiodiacetato)cobaltate(III), <I>trans</I>(<I>O</I>)-<I>mer</I>-, <I>s</I>-<I>cis</I>(<I>O</I>)-fac- and <I>u</I>-<I>cis</I>(<I>O</I>)-<I>fac</I>-isomers of (thiodiacetato)(diethylenetriamine)cobalt(III) and <I>trans</I>(<I>O</I>)-<I>mer</I>-isomer of (3,3′-thiodipropionato)(diethylenetriamine)cobalt(III) were prepared. Their geometrical configurations were assigned on the basis of their absorption and PMR spectra. The stereochemistry of the Co(III) complex with a tridentate ligand thiodiacetate is similar to that of the Co(III) complex with iminodiacetate.
