The <SUP>14</SUP>N nuclear quadrupole resonance spectra of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole, isatin(1<I>H</I>-indole-2,3-dione), and isatoic anhydride(2<I>H</I>-3,1-benzoxazine-2,4(1<I>H</I>)-dione) have been observed at room temperature by the nuclear double resonance method. The quadrupole coupling constants and the asymmetry parameters thus obtained were interpreted by the Townes and Dailey theory.
