A systematic study was made on the synthesis of α,α′-diaminodicarboxylic acids mainly by amination of the corresponding α,α′-dibromo-dicarboxylic acids using succinimide as an aminating reagent and by condensation of diethyl acetamidomalonate with α, ω-dibromo-paraffin.
