Limb salvage operation combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of osteosarcoma is well established.<BR>We report a case of osteosarcoma treated with total femur endoprosthesis. A 14 years old male was diagnosed to have osteosarcoma in his left femur. Although tumor invaded almost entire shaft of the femur, no metastasis was found; stage II B by Enneking's surgical stage. After intensive chemotherapy (CDDP and ADR), his left femur was removed and replaced with femur endoprosthesis (Zimmer Modular Tumor System). No recurrence nor metastasis is found after 20months post the operation and he is able to walk with crutches.
