I get some interesting effects on a histological study on ductless glands under various Stress upon lung such as resektion of lung, artificial pnemothorax, pnemonia and pulmonary phthisis.<BR>Following are summary.<BR>1. To compare the strength of Stress upon lung, the order from the severer is pneumonia, resektion of lung, both side pneumothorax, pulmonal phthisis and one side pneumothorax. It is remarkable that the influence of resektion of lung continued so long periods.<BR>2. Chief variations agreed with the concept of Stress what Selye called, but there are distinct difference between both seuxal glands.<BR>1) After resektion of lung, the changes of every tissues are going recover after 4 weeks, but that of Thymus, Thyroid and Testis are after two months.<BR>2) After infection to lung of pneumonia, there are strong cnanges in every tissues and many cases fall dead in 2nd day.<BR>3) In pulmonal phthisis, we find slight changes in endocrine glands compared with it's pulmonal changes.<BR>In artificial pneumothorax, we saw strong changes in 3rd to 7th day in the cases of both side pneumothorax.<BR>3. After this studies, I beliebe the continue of the long period acceleration of function in pituitaryadrenal system. So to resektion of lung in pulmonal phthisis, we have to take care of the stand of another lung, or it becomes a cause of origine to relapse.
