Electromyographic Study on Respiratory Movement of the Intrinsic Laryngeal Muscles:-In comparison with Alae Nasi Muscle-

In this experiment only the difference of respiratory pattern compared with alae nasi muscle was discussed.Matured rabbits, given local anesthesis, were used for investigation.Although it's recognized that electrical activity of intrinsic laryngeal muscles is controlled by C. N. S. as other respiratory muscles and was classified as though it belongs to the only accessory respiratory muscles such as alae nasi muscle, but the experimental findings were showed that there were numerous contradiction with classic theory to physiological classification of accessory respiratory muscles.As regards nervous control, intrinsic laryngeal muscles were well seen to hold more intimacy with activity of central regulation than alae nasi muscle.
