A case of the femoral neck fracture in Turner's Syndrome was reported. The patient was a 42-year-old female and showed 45, x/46, xx, mosaic type sex chromosome. The femoral neck fracture was pointed out about a month after she had fallen down the ground. X-ray films of the bone revealed moderate osteopenia at the femoral neck, but within normal range by MD method. The operation was carried out with femoral head prosthesis. The pathogenesis of osteopenia in Turner's Syndrome is similar to that of primary osteopenia. According to R. M. Shore et al., osteopenia of Turner's Syndrome may not be due simply to estrogen deficiency, rather, may represent an independent effect of the chromosome consititutan. In spite to ostepoenia in Turner's Syndrome, there is no evidence of an increase in frequency of fracture as many as predicted.
