There are various procedures for the treatment of the Acromio-Clavicular separation. Complete dislocation when occurred in sportsmen should be usually treated surgically.Since 1976, we have treated 10 cases by the modified Dewar's procedure in a mean of 8.5 days after injury. The mean length of follow-up was 4 years and 1 month. One year after the operation, prognosis was favourable and the patients had no complaints in playing all sports and military hard training. We believe that this operative method is the best procedure for the fresh complete A-C dislocation.
