We report a rare case of spontaneous rupture of the extensor tendon due to Kienböck's disease.The patient was a 60-year-old man and consulted us with pain in the right wrist and extension disturbance.At operation, the fragmented Iunate was removed, and a tendon ball using the fascia lata was packed into semilunar space.The extensor indicis proprius was transferred to the extensor of the ring finger. At two years after operation, the result was successful.
