• Fracture separation of the distal humeral epiphysis is a relatively rare injury. Three case reports are presented, all with a history of falling trauma.Radiographs demonstrated Salter-Harris type II fracture separation of the distal epiphysis with posteromedial displacement in case 2 and 3, but in case 1 with posterolateral displacement, that was very rare phenomenon. Closed reduction under anesthesia was attempted in all cases. Case 3 was reduced easily, but in case 1 and 2, reduction was incomplete and unstable, hense open reduction was performed. Exploration revealed muscles to be blocking reduction. Once these were removed, reduction could be done completely.
