We reported the results obtained with Ender's nailing in the treatment of the fractures of extremities except intertrocanteric fractures of the femur. We treated 27 humeral shaft fractures, 23 subtrochanteric fractures of the femur, 41 femoral saft factures, 27 fractures of the distal end of the femur and 35 tibial shaft fractures. 32 patients had multiple fractures, 30 had severe multiple injuries and 50 were open fractures.The result was that bony union was obtained in all cases but ten. The cases of non-union were all open fractures. Ender's nailing has many advantages for patients who had multiple fractures and severe multiple injuries of other organs.
