Fourteen cases of traumatic dislocation of the hip were followed-up for a period ranging from 1 month to 4 years and 9 months (mean, 1 years and 10 months). Fourteen were treated by closed reduction; 6 by closed reduction followed by open reduction. Satisfactory results were obtained in 74.5% of all patients. Osteoarthritis was seen in 1 case.
