• By using the new optical method described in the previous in stalment, some examples of evaluation have been shown.<BR>(1) Quantity of whole hairs: Both the quantity of reflected light and the number of the ends of hairs were shown.<BR>(2) Length of Hairs: The relation between the quantity or number and the length of hairs was obtained accurately.<BR>(3) Hairiness of blended yarn: Hairs of yarn in which two kinds of fibers were blended were sorted to some extent.<BR>(4) Others: For example, the periodic irregularity of hair quantity along the yarn axis was shown.
